We were honored to attend The Forest County Potawatomi Community Center ground blessing ceremony yesterday in Crandon, Wisconsin. The ceremonial blessing of the land was performed by Tribal Elder, Billy Daniels and followed by remarks from Chairman, Ned Daniels, Executive Council members, Greenfire Management Services, LLC President, Kip Ritchie and Ramlow/Stein Architects President, Scott Ramlow. The event was concluded with a traditional groundbreaking and celebratory feast.
The new Forest County Potawatomi Community Center will be a central hub and a resource to operate as an extension of formal and cultural education, recreation, athletic training, competition, wellness and social events for the Forest County Potawatomi Community. The building is scheduled to open in Spring 2021. Many thanks to our partners on this wonderful project; The Forest County Potawatomi Community, RDG Planning & Design and Greenfire Management Services, LLC.
