Meet Bescent, a designer at our firm who saw possibility where others saw waste. Standing at a crosswalk one morning, staring up at our headquarters, she had an idea that would take a year to bring to life.

Using discontinued interior design samples – the kind that typically end up in landfills – she taught herself textile art from scratch. Every piece of fabric, every texture, every color was carefully chosen and layered to create something extraordinary: a stunning tapestry of our building that left us speechless when she presented it to us at this year’s holiday party.

But here’s the best part: this masterpiece is just one piece of Bescent’s larger mission. She’s created a network of partnerships with design firms, schools, animal shelters, and foster homes, finding new homes for materials that would otherwise be discarded. Those samples now become student projects, dog toys, warm blankets, and works of art.
