James’ eye for detail, dedication to exceptional design, and unique path into the profession has allowed him to work on teams that deliver dynamic buildings that exceed client goals. He brings expertise in multiple areas of the field and has a true passion for educational design and planning – providing inspiring spaces for young students to live, learn and grow in. He finds fulfillment seeing the enjoyment of students and faculty experiencing a building that he has helped create. When he’s not pursuing his professional passion, James enjoys running, watching all Wisconsin sports, spending time with his wife and dog and building things for their home.  His primary professional goal is to contribute to improving the built environment for the service and benefit of everyone it impacts.
