RAMLOW/STEIN collaborated with the University School of Milwaukee to renovate and expand the Lower School and Middle School dining facilities, while also introducing a dedicated Preschool dining room furnished specifically for younger students.
The Ming Ming Voo MDS ’63 Dining Room, situated adjacent to the junior kindergarten hallway, serves prekindergarten, junior kindergarten, and kindergarten students, providing an environment designed to make lunchtime and gathering more accessible and comfortable for early learners.
Within Harvey B. Sperling Hall, the redesigned Lower and Middle School dining area now features two spacious seating wings, expanded restrooms, an enlarged servery, and a modern kitchen, thoughtfully planned to alleviate congestion and improve the movement of students and staff.
Both projects also include upgraded support spaces, enhancing overall convenience for the school community. Collectively, these enhancements elevate the dining experience for Preschool, Lower School, and Middle School students, continuing the standard set by previous improvements to the Upper School and fostering inviting spaces for meals, conversation, and community-building.
