The Olga Village Apartments and Senior Center is a project born from a visionary relationship between the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee and the United Community Center. Both saw the need in the Walkers Point neighborhood and both realized they could not meet it alone. HUD, WHEDA, Stimulus and private funds were all pooled to support the development.

The completed project combines these resources for a senior-targeted apartment building with 27 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom units. A community room, kitchenette, media room and small event space are all included on the first floor. Attached to the Olga Village Apartments is a 10,000-square-foot senior center with a large central community space, full kitchen, beauty salon, a free clinic and staff offices. The senior center is also connected to a previously-constructed United Community Center apartment building.
