After being our home for more than 20 years, it came time to practice what we preach and reinvigorate our space as a new environment from which to service our clients. As architectural practices have become more interdisciplinary over the years, our studio needed to be re-tooled for the next generation. Our work happens in a broader range of locations other than “desks” these days. We now have the appropriate balance of focused and collaborative zones and the footprint necessary to provide the most efficient results. Paying attention to historic details of our 1890 former printing press building, we were able to add conferencing spaces, VR capability, collaborative and ergonomic furniture, and increase workstation capacity while also adding some visual energy and inspiration.
