The results of the Menomonee Valley Planning Charrette were revealed this week at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. Milwaukee officials this fall may consider building roads onto a riverside site in the Menomonee Valley so it can be put on the market for sale, potentially for a food hall and manufacturing buildings.

Ramlow/Stein Architects recommends the existing industrial building on the property be preserved, but converted for other uses with large new windows. The building could host a visitor center for Menomonee Valley business to sell their products, and other food manufacturing operations. A large glass tower could be added to the building on the parking property. It could be lit at night to serve as a beacon.
