This month, we are featuring the Milwaukee VA Soldiers Home – Old Main. RAMLOW/STEIN collaborated with the Alexander Company to restore and repurpose Old Main from an abandoned Civil War veteran domicile to 80 apartments for homeless or at-risk veterans. The building includes spaces for group activities, fitness, home health care, counseling services, and building management.
